Fits Old Style LiftMaster and Chamberlain Sensors: made for the 41A5034, 41A5043, 801CB and 820CB safety sensor housings on most openers built before 2021. Check your part number first; the 2021 and newer 041-0136 sensor takes our other shield.
Door Will Not Close When the Sun Is Low: direct sunlight hitting the photo eye can make the opener reverse or refuse to close in the late afternoon or early morning. This cover is designed to hood the lens and keep the beam path shaded.
Try the Hand Shadow Test First: shade the sensor with your hand while someone presses close. If the door closes while shaded, sunlight is your problem and this shield is made for it. If it still stops, check sensor alignment and wiring instead.
Installs in Seconds, No Tools: loosen the wing nut, slide the shield over the sensor, retighten. UV resistant ASA plastic made for years of outdoor sun, heat and rain. Made in USA.
