Product Description

Bring one of World War II’s most formidable armored vehicles to life with the Soviet KV 1 heavy tank. This 768 piece building block model recreates the legendary KV 1 tank, a vehicle that played a critical role during the early years of World War II. Developed during a period of rapid Soviet military reorganization, the KV 1 was designed to withstand intense battlefield conditions with heavy armor that shocked German forces during Operation Barbarossa. Its presence on the Eastern Front marked a turning point in armored warfare, forcing opposing armies to rethink anti tank strategies. The KV 1 shares key design elements with the iconic T 34, including a similar engine platform and main gun lineage. This model features the historically accurate ZiS 5 main gun, a movable turret, and functional tracks that turn when pushed, allowing the finished build to feel substantial and mechanically alive. A detailed engine assembly adds another layer of realism, making this build especially rewarding for military history enthusiasts and serious hobby builders. Designed with collectors in mind, this set balances historical accuracy with thoughtful brick engineering. Every angle of the tank reflects the rugged, utilitarian design philosophy of Soviet armor, from the turret shape to the track layout. Whether displayed as part of a World War II collection or built as a hands on project, the KV 1 stands out as a powerful and authentic military model. Product comes unassembled with detailed building instructions. General Jim’s building blocks are compatible with all major building brands.
