These stunning papers are hand marbled in Italy by a master artisan. Every single sheet is a work of art unto itself! These classic European patterns are ideal for bookmaking, collage, book arts, and much more. The base paper is acid free and folds beautifully for origami and other paper arts. Imported directly from Italy. Sheets measure 19.5 x 27 inches. Approximately 90 g/m2. Sometimes called the Snail pattern. This pattern has been around for centuries, and can be seen in lots of old bookbindings. The Curled Stone pattern is created when droplets forming a marble pattern are swirled together in a repeating circular design. The French Curl can be also made on a combed pattern or on a chevron pattern creating an interlocking swirl pattern.
