Haunted River: A Paranormal Mystery Detective Thriller (Detectives Daniels and Remalla Book 1)
Product Description
They came to Dumont for a week off. They found a body instead — and a town convinced they're the killers.Detectives Aaron Remalla and Gordon Daniels have worked together long enough to finish each other's sentences, read each other's silences, and talk each other out of something colossally stupid. That bond is tested when a cold case in the small town of Dumont turns them into prime suspects in a murder that mirrors a decades-old killing. As the town closes in and the past refuses to stay buried, a secret tied to Daniels’ family drags them deeper toward something watching from the riverbank, something that’s been waiting for a long time.To clear their names, they will have to trust each other more than ever, because in Dumont the truth is dangerous, the dead are not silent, and when the killer finally comes for them, they'll need every skill they have. Including help from the other side. From Amazon readers:"Love the relationship between the 2 detectives, they are loyal, funny, like brothers.""Bishop has a fun cop duo at the center of this piece. They are not cookie-cutter, there is depth and lots of humor in their relationship. The murder-mystery plot was solid, with added bonus of legit paranormal ghost activity.""Riveting, spooky drama and hilarity all at the same time! Couldn't put it down.""This story reads like a Netflix show. I loved it."For fans of John Connolly's Charlie Parker series, Preston & Child's Pendergast novels, and Dean Koontz's Odd Thomas — grounded crime meets genuine ghost story, with a detective duo that'll keep you coming back for the next book.Follow J.T.
