BROWN HEART. A heart in deep brown acetate, hand painted. The shape says one thing and the wording says another, which is the entire joke.
CELLULOSE ACETATE, NOT PLASTIC. Made from cellulose acetate, a plant based material that comes from wood pulp and cotton rather than petroleum. It is heavier in the hand than plastic, holds a deeper gloss, and does not have that hollow drugstore feel.
HANDMADE AND HAND PAINTED. Every clip is shaped and painted by hand, so the color and the detail vary a little from one to the next and no two are identical. Strong hinge and deep teeth, built to hold a twist, a claw bun or a half up.
