Product Description
The LEKI DSS Tip is the official replacement tip for any LEKI trekking pole equipped with the Dynamic Suspension System Antishock mechanism, giving DSS poles a second life when the original tip wears down. The DSS system is LEKI engineering at its most functional, positioning the antishock mechanism directly above the tip at the exact point where impact force enters the pole. This placement means the spring and elastomer components absorb the initial shock before any vibration travels up the shaft and into your hands, wrists, and elbows, reducing peak impact force by up to 40 percent and protecting joints, muscles, and ligaments over long days on trail. Each DSS Tip includes the full DSS mechanism, a sharp carbide tip for reliable pole plants on rock, packed dirt, and mixed surfaces, and installation instructions so you can complete the swap at home. The tips are available in two shaft diameter sizes to ensure a proper fit. Note that DSS Tips are only compatible with poles that feature the DSS system and must always be used with an attached basket. Sold as a pair.
