The 7 7/10” double-hawk head is cast stainless steel with a black oxide coating and satin finish highlighting. It has a 3 3/10” razor-sharp blade edge on each side, and the head has recessed circle patterns and the M48 logo. The rugged fiberglass reinforced handle has custom, heavy texturing for a slip-free grip and is secured to the head by three heavy-duty bolts.
