About
Adds 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports to expand a wired network for home or office setups with computers, smart TVs, game consoles, printers, and other Ethernet-ready devices.
Plug-and-play operation gets your network up and running quickly with no software or complicated configuration required; just connect power and attach your Ethernet devices.
Eight auto-sensing RJ45 ports support 10, 100, and 1000 Mbps connections, automatically matching connected device speeds for flexible use across mixed network equipment.
Store-and-forward switching with half and full duplex operation delivers reliable data handling, while a 16 Gbps switch fabric supports smooth traffic across connected devices.
IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet helps reduce power use by deactivating unused ports, making it a practical choice for always-on desktop networking.
Fanless desktop design operates quietly and fits easily into compact spaces; black plastic housing measures 2.56 x 4.92 x 0.87 inches for simple placement.
Supports Auto MDI/MDX on all ports for easy cable connections, plus jumbo frames up to 9 kB, a 2,048-entry MAC address table, and 256 kB buffer memory.
