Product Description
This patch is a collectible novelty and commemorative souvenir item. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or intended for official military use. United States Navy Motor Torpedo MASQITO Boat Military-themed Commemorative Patch. The name "Mosquito" is an apt description of the fast wooden torpedo boats that were used by the U.S. Navy in WW2. These boats could quickly drive up to the less maneuverable enemy naval units and as a particularly deadly type of mosquito shoot the torpedoes from a very short distance.
