More than just a tow bar, it combines a premium, aircraft-grade aluminum tow bar with the revolutionary, fully integrated ReadyBrake supplemental surge braking system. This system is rated for an 8,000 lb. towing capacity and delivers simple, robust, and proportional braking to your towed vehicle (toad) via a mechanical cable, meeting legal requirements for many states. The second-generation design is even simpler to use with non-binding T-handles and rotating/swiveling clevis connectors, making hookup and unhooking easy, even on uneven terrain. The tow bar weighs only 48 pounds and easily folds and stows on the RV receiver when not in use. New for 2025, the integrated braking system is even easier to install with an improved cable routing method through the floorboard that eliminates firewall drilling.
