Overcharge Protection: When charging, the protection board automatically powers off once the battery voltage reaches the maximum 4.2V, stopping further charging when fully charged to form overcharge protection
Over-discharge Protection: When the battery is nearly depleted and voltage drops to 3.0V, the protection board shuts off, preventing further discharge to achieve over-discharge protection
Short Circuit Protection: In case of accidental short circuit, the protection board shuts down automatically within milliseconds and will not restart. Note: If the battery cell itself is short-circuited (bypassing the protection board), continuous high current may cause the protection board to fail or components to overheat and damage
Important Note: Battery overcurrent protection is not foolproof. Do not charge/discharge with excessive current or exceed the recommended voltage/current range—otherwise, the protection board will be damaged and rendered ineffective
