While tuning, gently push the pegs inward so they remain seated. Before first use, apply rosin to the bow hair with approximately 30-50 full passes. Reapply after about 4-6 hours of practice or as needed. Loosen the bow hair after playing. Tighten it only enough for the next practice session. After playing, wipe the strings and instrument with a soft, clean, lint-free cloth to remove rosin, dust, oil and moisture. Important: Final tuning is required before each practice session.
