Designed specifically for fillet weld grinding, the PFERD TOOLS POLIFAN® CURVE flap disc delivers exceptional stock removal, precision shaping, and long-lasting performance on steel and stainless steel. Featuring PFERD TOOLS' patented radial flap design, this innovative flap disc is the only one in the world engineered to utilize the entire grinding surface of the disc, providing superior control and efficiency when working on fillet welds. Constructed with premium zirconia alumina abrasive grain, the POLIFAN® CURVE Special Line SGP flap disc offers aggressive cutting action, high durability, and outstanding economic value. The medium-radius profile is optimized for fillet welds with radii greater than 3/16", allowing operators to achieve precise weld geometry while minimizing grinding time and reducing labor costs. The coarse 40-grit abrasive is ideal for heavy stock removal, weld blending, and surface preparation. As the outer edge wears down, the disc continues to function effectively as a conventional flap disc, extending usable life and maximizing productivity.
