Product Description
Product Description Purdy Colossus roller covers provides unmatched durability and abrasion resistance. Made with 100% woven polyamide, this paint applicator is designed for semi-rough to rough surfaces. For best results, use with latex and oil-based paints and primers in flat, eggshell and satin sheens. Handcrafted in the USA, this Purdy roller paint cover is ideal for drywall, masonry, stucco and rough wood. Featuring polypropylene cores that are resistant to all paints, stains and solvents that extend their life. Thermal bond technology winds roller cover fabric to the core with a perfect spiral seam for smooth rolling. Ultra-durable roller cover cores eliminate bending, allowing even contact with the wall. Producing roller covers that result in less spatter, even release or a lint-free finish has been part of Purdy’s dedication to innovation. Purdy has developed exclusive, proprietary manufacturing processes to produce high-quality products for professionals who use them to earn their livelihood. After each nap roller cover is wound, they are double vacuumed to reduce potential fiber shedding and then hand inspected to ensure they meet Purdy’s high-quality standards. From the Manufacturer Our Colossus series features high capacity roller covers that load and release an exceptional amount of paint. Made of an exclusive formulation of 100% polyamide, Colossus roller covers lay paint off very smoothly and carry a remarkable amount of material to the surface without dripping or splattering. This product rolls one-third farther than traditional lambskin roller covers and back rolls over 10,000 square feet - other products wear out in less than half the time. Perfect for rolling a great deal of new drywall quickly, Colossus roller covers hold and release more paint than any other Purdy roller fabric. Designed for heavy-duty painting projects. Also great for stucco, T1-11 siding, brick or rough-textured walls.
