Full Flow 1/4Turn Rain Barrel Shut Off Spigot. NO Thread Tape needed. NO reaching inside the barrel to install this Rain Barrel Shut Off Bulkhead Rubber Fitting. Drill a 1- 1/4inch hole (after drilling the hole, make sure there are no raised burrs by trimming them off) Pinch the threaded rubber bulkhead fitting and push into the hole from the OUTSIDE - after inserted, reshape by placing your finger inside the bulkhead fitting to make round. Before screwing in the Full Flow 1/4Turn Rain Barrel Shut Off Spigot LOOK at the threaded ends on both sides. One end has threads closer together. this is the end to screw into the Rubber Bulkhead Fitting (the other end will accept a garden hose) CAREFULLY screw the Full Flow 1/4Turn Rain Barrel Shut Off Spigot into the Rubber Bulkhead Fitting. (No pipe threaded needed!) Note: The little triangle tab - Put your finger on it to keep the Rubber Bulkhead Fitting from rotating as you screw the Full Flow 1/4Turn Rain Barrel Shut Off Spigot into it. NOT to be used for metal barrels
