The Sony UTX-M40 wireless handheld transmitter pairs with the URX-P40 receiver for reliable performance in professional environments. Built with a rugged all-metal design, it withstands tough operating conditions while remaining comfortable to hold. With 72 MHz bandwidth and 2772 UHF frequencies, it provides strong connectivity and up to 330' transmission range.
Equipped with a dynamic cardioid microphone capsule, the UTX-M40 focuses on capturing the speaker’s voice while reducing background noise. The capsule design is interchangeable, offering compatibility with over 40 capsules from different manufacturers. This flexibility allows broadcasters, presenters, and performers to customize the mic’s response for various situations.
Advanced features include Sony’s UWP-D digital audio processing for natural, nuanced sound with clear reproduction of transients.
