Set of anvil secateurs paired with a blade sharpener

Product Description

The Spear and Jackson kew gardens razorsharp ratchet anvil secateurs and sharpener set contains ratchet anvil secateurs and a 6-in-1 blade sharpener. The secateurs utilise an anvil (knife like) cutting action onto a flat lower blade and are ideal suited for use on thicker, dead woody material. The ratchet mechanism provides a mechanical advantage to the user and allows for easy pruning in four short steps, simply apply pressure until the audible click, loosen your grip slightly and reapply pressure until the next click is heard, repeat until the cut is complete. The blade sharpener has four sharpening options to cover a range of different garden and household blade types (instructions provided), in addition a cleaning sponge and lubricating/anti corrosion oil are handily stored within the handle. These items carry a 10 years guarantee. The kew range of tools has been developed in conjunction with kew's horticultural team, resulting in an officially licensed range of tools which are both used and recommended by kew. Spear and Jackson's foundations were laid in 1760, since beginnings centuries of experience and enhancement have resulted in the materials and development expertise that resides within the company today and continuous enhancement is at the heart of the company's ethos. This drive to improve product materials and performance can be seen in many different ways across the company's 3,000 lines. The organisation has come a long way since 1760 and the Spear and Jackson group manufactures and distributes garden tools, metrology equipment, woodworking tools, metal working tools, saw blades and magnetic equipment.
