About
FIT FOR 2024-2026 TACOMA: Designed for 2024, 2025 and 2026 Toyota Tacoma N400 models with a manual tailgate. This vehicle-specific tailgate assist kit is not for factory power tailgates or 2023 and earlier Tacoma models.
CONTROLLED TAILGATE LOWERING: The damper slows the tailgate's downward movement after release, helping reduce sudden drops and hard slams. Enjoy a more controlled opening motion when accessing the truck bed for everyday loading and unloading.
NO-DRILL INSTALLATION: The kit mounts using the truck's existing attachment points without drilling new holes. Use the supplied mounting hardware and follow the installation instructions to position the damper correctly on the specified manual-tailgate application.
CARBON STEEL CONSTRUCTION: The carbon steel assembly and black finish give this truck-bed accessory a sturdy, coordinated appearance. Vehicle-specific mounting keeps the damper positioned alongside the tailgate for its controlled lowering function.
OPENING ASSIST, MANUAL CLOSING: This kit controls the tailgate as it opens; it does not power the tailgate upward or reduce the effort needed to close it. After installation, check secure mounting and confirm that the tailgate reaches its normal fully open position.
