About
REMOVABLE STEM FOR TWO PLAYING STYLES: Take the stem out for the classic Harmon-style wah-wah buzz that defined generations of trumpet solos. Leave the stem in for a distinct focused sound plus the ability to create dramatic wah effects by moving your hand over the end of the mute.
FULL AND EVEN SOUND WITH EXCELLENT RESPONSE: Plays comfortably from low F sharp past high C with balanced intonation across the entire register. No pinched highs, no muddy lows, no back pressure. Free-blowing response that lets the player drive the mute, not fight it.
FOR ORCHESTRAL, LARGE ENSEMBLE, AND SOLO WORK: The full, projecting sound cuts through a symphony section while retaining warmth in intimate solo settings. Used by orchestral players, big band section leaders, jazz combo soloists, and studio session players.
HANDCRAFTED SPUN ALUMINUM CONSTRUCTION: Lightweight aluminum body resists dents and tarnish while producing a bright, focused wah-wah voice. Precision-cut natural cork provides a secure seal in the bell without slipping mid-phrase or requiring adjustment.
MADE IN THE USA BY MUTEC: Manufactured in Skokie, Illinois by the team that produces brass mutes for professional trumpet players worldwide. Backed by decades of brass-mute manufacturing experience across multiple owned brands.
