Product Description

This book is a step-by-step instructor’s manual for all 720 lessons in our core book We All Can Read: Third Grade through Adult Edition. This guide presents a lesson-by-lesson instructional blueprint for teaching all 720 lessons found in the core book. Using this Teacher’s Guide in conjunction with accessing our 720 online lessons makes it possible for a teacher, parent or tutor with little or no background in phonics to teach reading and spelling skills to struggling readers of any age.Teacher preparation is minimal. Time-intensive teacher training is not required to teach this program; one does not need to be a reading specialist to implement instruction. Teachers, parents, and tutors do not have to learn the entire instructional sequence of the program prior to beginning instruction. Each lesson in the book provides clear directions for the instructor to follow; thus very little class preparation time is necessary. The instructor need learn only the next lesson introduced before teaching that lesson to the student.Ongoing Assessment is organically interwoven throughout the entire program. Student assessment is a critical element covered in great detail in this Teacher’ s Guide. It is important to measure all students’ progress in this program on a weekly basis if at all possible. (See pages 94-97.) Some evaluation can be administered to the entire class at the same time, but individual monitoring with each student should also occur each week. Weekly assessment is critical because it provides a teacher with vital feedback regarding how well each student is learning the material as it is being presented. Read more
