This hemp-cotton fitted diaper needs a waterproof cover (PUL or wool, sold separately) worn over it to keep moisture off pajamas and bedding; without one, moisture passes straight through. Because the core holds a large volume of moisture, it is normal, not a leak, for the diaper to feel fully soaked by morning - a reliable, well-fitted cover is what keeps that moisture contained.Every layer is natural fiber: the diaper body, both snap-in inserts, and the layer against your baby's skin are the same 55 percent hemp, 45 percent cotton blend, with no bamboo rayon or synthetic wicking lining anywhere. That is a real trade-off worth knowing: without a wicking layer, your baby will feel wetness sooner as the diaper absorbs. Sound sleepers usually are not bothered; if your baby wakes at the first hint of damp, a stay-dry lined version may suit them better.Fit and sizing: one size, adjustable by snaps, fitting from about 1 month through early toddler years, roughly 10 to 30 lbs. Fit varies by body shape; use weight as the primary guide and size up if between settings.Care: machine wash at a maximum of 90F, tumble dry on low to medium heat (or hang dry, though line-dried hemp feels stiff until worn or briefly tumbled), and skip bleach, fabric softener, and boiling, which reduce absorbency or damage fibers.
