Product Description
The Katadyn BeFree AC 0.5L is the smallest and lightest filtered water bottle in the BeFree AC lineup, purpose-built for trail runners, cyclists, fastpackers, and athletes who need clean water without adding weight or bulk. At just 72 grams, it fits directly into running vest pockets, jersey pockets, and hip pack pouches without a second thought. The 2-stage filtration system pairs a 0.1 micron hollow fiber membrane with a removable activated carbon pad to deliver clean, great-tasting water from virtually any source. The hollow fiber stage filters out sediment, fine particles, and microplastics at a fast 2 L/min flow rate with up to 1,000L capacity. The activated carbon stage reduces chlorine, chemicals, and bad taste, and because it is fully removable, you can skip it in clean mountain streams and add it back when filling from taps or treated sources. The bottle collapses flat when empty and features an integrated clip handle for easy pack attachment. To clean, just shake or swish in water to restore full flow. No backflushing, no tools, no downtime. BPA-free throughout and designed for athletes who do not want to think about their water. Just fill, clip, and go
