- Integrated Door Barricade Design. Unlike the traditional strike plate, this strike plate features a bolt-like design that works as an extra barricade, securing the door and preventing it from being unlocked/kicked in from outside without authorization. Provide a Second Layer of Protection against Forced Entry. Simply insert the included pins to securely lock the door. Push out to unlock. Quick and easy to use.
- Work as Standard Strike Plate. The extra locking function is only used when needed. For daily use when this function is not required, the pins can be stored and secured in the built-in storage spot, allowing the strike plate to function as a standard strike plate.
- Oversized Plate – Standard Lip Design: Features an extra-long (7”) design to enhance security and cover the damaged door frame, worn slot, gouges of improper wood working. Clean up the area around the strike hole. Hide flaws or broken areas in jamb. Standard lip to fit the standard slot.
- Enlarged Strike Hole/Opening: A larger opening to fix issues where the door fails to latch close properly caused by misalignment. The dimension of the holes is large enough to allow for seasonal ground movement or wood shrink and keep the latches work properly.
- Reinforced Plate & Screws: Constructed from 2mm hardened stainless steel, it withstands heavy impacts without deformation. Includes 3-inch and 1-inch torx/star screws and bit. The 3-inch screws feature a dual-cut design for easier driving, effectively preventing wood splitting and screw breakage.
- Note: Only suitable for doors that open inward.
