About this item

  • [Professional-Grade Large Capacity - 16-Inch Extra-Large Baking Surface] This pizza steel measures 16 x 16 inches (40.6 x 40.6 cm), weighs 10.2 kg and easily fits four sourdough loaves or one extra-large family-sized pizza. Whether you're a professional baker or a passionate home baker, this pizza steel for oven allows you to batch-bake with ease. It's also a great pizza oven accessory that delivers a "straight from oven to table" perfect result every time.
  • [8mm Thick Professional Steel - More Even Heat & Stronger Heat Retention] Compared to a standard pizza stone, our pizza stone is made of 8mm solid steel, increasing heat capacity by about 25%. It stores more heat, so adding frozen pizza or raw dough causes minimal temperature drop - the crust turns crispy and golden edge to edge, no burnt or undercooked spots. This baking steel works great in ovens or grills, perfect for sourdough, pizza, cookies, and more. Consider it a superior steel pizza stone for serious bakers.
  • [Built-In Handle Holes - Safe Handling & Easy Storage] The pizza pan features built-in handle holes, allowing you to safely lift it with heat-resistant gloves or a hook - no burns, no slipping. After drying, you can hang it directly on a kitchen hook, saving counter or cabinet space. This space-saving, rust-resistant design makes this pizza board a handy and easy-to-store helper in your kitchen. It works perfectly as a 16 inch pizza pan for large pies.
  • [Maintenance-Free Non-Stick Surface - Better with Every Use] Cleaning is surprisingly simple: no soap, no scrubbing - just scrape off residue with a scraper, rinse with warm water, and wipe dry. The surface is pre-treated for good non-stick performance from the start, similar to a cast iron pizza pan. With repeated use, it naturally develops a protective layer, becoming more non-stick over time - without releasing any chemical coatings. It's a reliable metal pizza stone that lasts, and even works as a pizza screen alternative for crispy crusts.
  • [The Ultimate Upgrade for Baking Enthusiasts - Beautifully Gift-Boxed] Whether the recipient is a pizza lover or a sourdough baking enthusiast, this 8mm thick pizza steel 16x16 significantly elevates their baking results. It's also a fantastic dough guy pizza steel alternative that delivers professional performance. It's a signature upgrade for any home kitchen, beautifully packaged - an ideal gift for birthdays, holidays, or housewarmings. If you're looking for bread oven for sourdough accessories or pizza making accessories, this is the one.

Product Description

Pizza Steel Cleaning & Maintenance Guide: After Each Use-Scrape off residue while warm – Wait until the pizza steel is warm (not scorching hot), then use a metal scraper or bench scraper to gently remove any stuck cheese, sauce, or flour. This prevents burnt smells and preserves the existing seasoning. Daily Cleaning-Avoid dish soap – Wash with warm water and a stiff brush. Dish soap can strip the seasoning layer, reducing non-stick performance and rust protection. Stubborn Stains-Baking soda paste + warm water – For tough spots, make a paste with baking soda and a little warm water, then scrub with a brush. Baking soda is a mild abrasive that cleans effectively without damaging the surface. Thorough Drying (Crucial!)-Dry immediately and bake dry – This is the most important step. After washing, wipe completely dry with paper towels or a cloth, then place the steel back in a warm oven (about 200°F / 93°C) for 10–15 minutes to remove any remaining moisture. Any leftover water can cause rust quickly. Periodic Seasoning-Season every 6 months or as needed – Apply an ultra-thin layer of high-smoke-point oil (like flaxseed, grapeseed, or canola oil) with a paper towel. Place the steel upside down in the oven and bake at 400°F (204°C) for 1 hour, then let it cool inside the oven. This creates a durable, non-stick polymer layer that protects against rust. Storage-Store in a dry place – use parchment paper between steels – Keep your pizza steel in a dry environment. If stacking multiple steels, place parchment paper between them to prevent scratches
