Product Information
About this item
- [8mm Thick Steel - Crispy Crust & Long-Lasting Heat Retention] Made of 8mm thick carbon steel, our pizza steel provides more even heat and stronger retention than ordinary pans. This baking steel conducts heat 20x better than ceramic stones and holds 2x more heat. It's a true steel pizza stone for serious home bakers. Preheating delivers a crispy, golden-brown crust, and it keeps food warm longer after baking - every slice stays hot and crispy. Pair it with a pizza peel for effortless transferring.
- [Non-Stick Coating - Ready to Use & Easy to Clean] The surface is treated with a non-stick coating - no complicated seasoning needed, just open and use. This pizza pan (a carbon steel pan) cleans easily with a soft cloth and warm water; residue rinses right off. No steel wool or dish soap required. It's also a great pizza pan for oven that saves you time on cleanup.
- [Heavy-Duty Carbon Steel - Durable & No Warping] With its extra-large 20"x14" size, this carbon steel pizza plate weighs 11.2 kg and is built to last. It resists high heat, wear, and corrosion. Even after repeated use, it won't warp or bend, staying perfectly flat to ensure even heat distribution and consistent crust thickness. Consider it a reliable 14 inch pizza pan for daily baking. If you're looking for a detroit style pizza pan, this heavy-duty steel also works beautifully for thick-crust square pizzas.
- [Thumb Hole Design - Easy Hanging Storage] A thumb hole on the edge of this pizza tray allows for one-handed lifting. After drying, you can hang it directly on a kitchen hook, saving cabinet space. The laser-cut edges are polished smooth for a comfortable, safe grip. This steel plate is as practical to store as it is to use. It also functions as a pizza serving tray for presenting your masterpiece at the table.
- [Versatile Use - Indoor & Outdoor] Suitable for ovens and grills, this pizza steel for oven is not just for pizza - it also handles bread, cookies, quiche, roasted vegetables, steak, pizza rolls, and more. Whether you're cooking a family dinner at home or grilling outdoors, this metal pizza stone does it all in one pan. It's also a durable baking steel for oven and a handy pizza rack alternative for multiple dishes.

Pizza Steel Cleaning & Maintenance Guide: After Each Use-Scrape off residue while warm – Wait until the pizza steel is warm (not scorching hot), then use a metal scraper or bench scraper to gently remove any stuck cheese, sauce, or flour. This prevents burnt smells and preserves the existing seasoning. Daily Cleaning-Avoid dish soap – Wash with warm water and a stiff brush. Dish soap can strip the seasoning layer, reducing non-stick performance and rust protection. Stubborn Stains-Baking soda paste + warm water – For tough spots, make a paste with baking soda and a little warm water, then scrub with a brush. Baking soda is a mild abrasive that cleans effectively without damaging the surface. Thorough Drying (Crucial!)-Dry immediately and bake dry – This is the most important step. After washing, wipe completely dry with paper towels or a cloth, then place the steel back in a warm oven (about 200°F / 93°C) for 10–15 minutes to remove any remaining moisture. Any leftover water can cause rust quickly. Periodic Seasoning-Season every 6 months or as needed – Apply an ultra-thin layer of high-smoke-point oil (like flaxseed, grapeseed, or canola oil) with a paper towel. Place the steel upside down in the oven and bake at 400°F (204°C) for 1 hour, then let it cool inside the oven. This creates a durable, non-stick polymer layer that protects against rust. Storage-Store in a dry place – use parchment paper between steels – Keep your pizza steel in a dry environment. If stacking multiple steels, place parchment paper between them to prevent scratches
